Peak Ski Racing Academy's mission is to provide the very best support to athletes, second only to that provided by their parents. Darren and Tracie live on-site and provide 24/7 parental support and supervision. House rules must be followed just like at home.
Rest is an incredibly important component for the ski athlete training regime and a strict 9pm bedtime policy with lights out at 9.30pm is enforced. Saturday night allows for a slightly extended bedtime.
We believe that rest is so important a no-device policy is implemented at bedtime. All athletes hand over their phones/computers/ipads etc to be kept in the office each night. Devices may be retrieved each morning on rising or at breakfast.
Canyon Peak Ranch has a strong internet signal allowing video conference communication between families with ease. There should never be any excuse for athletes not to be updating Mum and Dad!
Darren and Tracie have up-to-date first aid certification ensuring day to day mishaps can be dealt with easily and efficiently.
